Langlea Gardens is a boutique full-service landscaping practice. With a flair for creativity and a solid, robust philosophy on construction. Using new and traditional techniques, Langlea produces multi-sensory gardens with a clean aesthetic to the highest standards.

We were approached to update an identity that represented the creative ambition and style of Langlea Gardens. Working closely with the Langlea team, the new identity is complemented with new brand materials and a new website that bring the landscaping business up to date and the front of the local competition.
Our first challenge was to update the brand and make it feel fresh without touching the logo. We landed on a calm pallet with hints of the natural world.
At all costs, we avoided computer-generated stills or illustrations. We wanted customers to imagine themselves in the gardens showcased. We felt that garden envy would be the key to success.
Using white space and reduced copy, we pulled focus on what was important. Tell the story of what Langlea does well. We also did away with old user journeys and created new ones that allowed the user to enter a spiral of inspiration.
We eventually settled on less abstract layouts and created more compact layouts to reduce scrolling. The overall effect allows the user to absorb the content, be inspired and quickly get in touch.
The end result was a decrease in bounce rate, increase in time spent on the site and a 13% increase in valuable contact submissions.
